Upon arriving at the Parliament, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio stated, “I had already congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his third term and the NDA’s success in forming the government for the third consecutive time.”
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who attended the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, said, “We managed to win only one seat in Goa. I am disappointed that we couldn’t secure the other seat as well.”

After Modi is elected the leader of the NDA MPs, prominent alliance members such as TDP’s N Chandrababu Naidu, JD(U)’s Nitish Kumar, and Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde are expected to accompany the Prime Minister for a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu. During this meeting, they will present her with the list of parliamentarians supporting Modi.
